Since 2012, Dr. Alejandro Martinez has been providing comprehensive dentistry in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated dental school from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is a member of ADA, Spear Education, Academy of General Dentistry, San Antonio Dental District Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Texas Dental Association. Dr. Alejandro Martinez obtained a Fellowship at the California Implant Institute. He also won the Opencare Patients’ Choice Award. Dr. Martinez has received advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, surgical implant placement and implant restorations and dental extractions including impacted wisdom teeth.
Outside practicing dentistry, Dr. Martinez enjoys spending time with his Siberian Husky, Meeka, playing guitar, and any outdoor adventures like hiking, mountain biking, snow skiing, wakeboarding and camping.
His goal as a dentist is to continually improve and evolve as a dentist, giving our patients the best care possible while also providing knowledge to patients about their oral health and proper way to take care of their teeth and gums.
Dr. Sarah McMahan has been practicing in San Antonio, Texas, since 2015. She graduated with her degree in dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2015. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Texas Austin with a bachelor’s degree in economics in 2010. Dr. McMahan is a member of the ADA and Academy of General Dentistry.
In her free time, Dr. Sarah McMahan enjoys gardening, yoga, playing with her dogs, watching University of Texas football and watching the Spurs.
Dr. Bobby Cortez has been practicing dentistry for fourteen years and has always been passionate about caring for people and staying at the forefront of innovation in dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2011. Upon graduation, he was honored with two distinctions awarded to only one student in his class: the Certificate of Distinction in Research and the Oral Biology Award, recognizing his dedication and contributions to oral science.
Outside of the office, Dr. Cortez has been happily married for five years and is a proud father to his son Bryce and God-daughter Alex. He enjoys spending time with his family, staying active with fitness, playing golf, and perfecting the art of Texas Barbecue. His passion for people, combined with his clinical expertise, is what makes Dr. Cortez a perfect fit for Great White Dental, where building lasting relationships for our community come first.
Dr. Hector Tijerina has been practicing dentistry for over a decade and brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and strategic training to Great White Dental. As our dental assistant, Ashley wants the patients to enjoy coming in for their appointment and does everything in her power to achieve that. Ashley is a proud mother of two children, Kolton and Paisley. In her free time, Ashley enjoys baking, spending time with kids, going to concerts and going shopping.
