Potential Dental Emergencies

  • A tooth that has been knocked out: If you have a tooth that has been knocked out, it is important to try and find the tooth. Once you have found the tooth, rinse it off with water but do not scrub it or remove any tissue that may be attached. If possible, try to reinsert the tooth into the socket. If you are unable to do so, place the tooth in a cup of milk. Then, call us immediately!

  • A cracked tooth: If you have a cracked tooth, it is important to avoid chewing on that side of your mouth and to eat soft foods. You should also rinse your mouth with warm water and salt water several times a day.

  • A loose tooth: If you have a loose tooth, it is important to avoid chewing on that side of your mouth and to eat soft foods. You should also avoid touching or wiggling the tooth.

  • An object caught between teeth: If you have an object caught between your teeth, try to remove it with floss. If you are unable to remove the object with floss, contact us  and schedule an appointment as soon as possible.

  • Swelling around the jaw: If you have swelling around your jaw, it is important to apply ice to the area for 15-20 minutes every hour. You should also take ibuprofen for pain relief if needed.

Same-Day Dentistry

We offer dedicated time slots for when our patients need us most, and we prioritize emergencies in the order in which we receive calls that same day. Our experienced team is always ready to quickly diagnose and treat any dental issue you may be facing. With our same-day dentistry services, you don’t have to suffer through discomfort and pain waiting for an appointment. Give us a call and we’ll do our best to get you in as soon as possible.

Infected Tooth Extractions

Infected teeth are not only painful but can also cause further complications if left untreated. In some cases, extraction may be the only solution to alleviate the pain and remove the source of the infection. However, rest assured that our experienced team will provide you with personalized care, ensuring that the process is as comfortable as possible. We use modern techniques and equipment to minimize any discomfort during the procedure.

Whether you have a severe toothache, a broken tooth, or any other dental emergency, our team of compassionate dental professionals is ready to assist you. We’ll work to restore your oral health as soon as possible.
